Departure with your guide and your driver for a city tour of St. Petersburg by transport, and guided tour of Peter and Paul Fortress: You discover the sumptuous capital dreamed by Peter the Great at the mouth of the Neva. The Decembrist square, the Admiralty and the Cathedral of Saint Peter and Saint Paul, the Nevsky Prospect, the canals, Savior on the Spilled Blood … The city tour is the ideal excursion to understand the geography of this great city.

Free time for lunch and free afternoon for a personal discovery of the city (Option: guided tour of the sumptuous private apartments of the Yussupov Palace).

Meet with your guide and depart for the guided tour of the Hermitage Museum: A shining jewel of Russian Baroque art, the Hermitage Museum is one of the most important museums in the world. Listed by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site, it contains best-known works of art of the great masters who represent  Dutch, Italian, Flemish, and Spanish schools. You will be amazed by the rich collections and by the magnificence of the palace itself.

Departure for a guided tour of St. Isaac Cathedral and St. Savior on the Spilled Blood Cathedral (with a breathtaking climb to its collonade). The Orthodox Cathedral of St-Isaac, built in the nineteenth century under the reigns of Alexander I, Nicholas I, and Alexander II, had remained the center of religious life in St-Petersburg until the Revolution. The third-largest cathedral in Europe, it has a magnificent view of the city and of the Neva river from its main dome  which is 102 meters high. 

Built by Alexander III on the spot where his father, Alexander II, was murdered in 1881, St. Savior on the Spilled Blood Cathedral was constructed in  Neo-Russian style. Along with St. Basil’s Cathedral in Moscow, the St. Savior on the Spilled Blood Cathedral is one of the most picturesque and most visited museums in St. Petersburg today.

Free time for lunch, and free afternoon for a personal discovery of the city (Option: 1/ Guided tour of the Russian Museum offering a complete panorama of all Russian painting schools from the 10th century to the present day, 2/ Guided tour of Kunstkamera, a fascinating museum of objects collected by Peter the Great).

Your personal guide will pick you up at the hotel. Departure on foot (or by public transport) to the pier. Departure by airboat (from May to September, weather permitting; in winter the trip is by transport) for the visit of Peterhof: very impressed by the splendour of the French court, Peter the Great installed his “Russian Versailles” on the Baltic Sea to celebrate his victory against the Swedes. A long canal linked to the Gulf of Finland allowed guests to reach the palace by boat, admiring the Great Waterfall, this formidable ensemble of fountains, water jets and sculptures that still operates from mid-May to September.

Lunch free on site, return to town, late afternoon free.

Pavlovsk Palace

Departure with your personal driver and guide for the visit of the Pavlovsk Palace: Listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, Pavlovsk is famous for the splendour of its interiors with many 18th century furniture, sculptures, and paintings, but also for the beauty of its English style park (Optional: guided tour of the gardens of the Pushkine/Tsarskoe Selo estate).

Lunch free, return to St. Petersburg and afternoon free.

Dinner at leisure and overnight at the hotel.

Cancellation Policy
  • If the cancellation is made more than 30 days before departure, the fee is 100€ 
  • Between 30 and 20 days before departure, cancellation fee equals 25 % of the total amount of the trip price
  • Between 19 and 13 days, the fee equals 35 %
  • Between 12 and 9 days, the fee equals 60 %
  • If the cancellation is made less than 9 days before departure, the cancellation fee is 100% of the total amount
